This book focuses on the journey of healing childhood trauma while finding purpose amid Codependency and Narcissism. Throughout the process, it is worth noting that people come into our lives for a season, a reason, or a lifetime and once the purpose is fulfilled, we continue on our path of self-actualization. We have to let these people go to be free to find their own purpose. Holding on for deer life only delays the growth processes needed. My mind is drawn to the story of the man who was drowning and cried out to God to save him. God, in His infinite wisdom, gives us what He thinks we need and not what we want. So God sent the man a plane, a boat, a submarine, a craft, and a rope, and he rejected all of them; and while he was drowning, he asked God why he allowed him to drown. God said to him, “My son, I sent you all these things to rescue you, and because it was not in the form you expected, you rejected them all.”
The moral of the story is to be open and receptive to the lessons the Universe sends our way regardless of the package it may come in. Our blessings might be in a package that we least expect, and because we are so selective in our choices, we miss our blessings and spend the rest of our lives searching for or miss the blessings and opportunities. In the midst of trials and tribulations, the Universe may send us Soul Mates in the form of friends, family, work and church colleagues and acquaintances, or Life Partners -Twin Flame interactions.
